Lock downs, workouts and making space for yourself.

I don’t know about you but my home workouts with the kids aren’t usually seemless or glamorous. They’re filled with stops & starts, tears & tantrums, interruptions and so many questions (all.the.questions.)

The point is, it can be challenging to get through a session but so is feeling like I’m last on the list of priorities and watching my energy and mood spiral as a result. So, I’m trying to do what I can to make space for myself in amongst it all. Especially in lock down. Despite how inconvenient it may be for 2 little girls.

Today’s workout: 40 seconds work // 20 seconds rest x 4 times through each exercise.

1. Squat lateral leg lift 2. Modified Push up reach 3. Romanian Deadlift 5. Banded Row 6. Bicep curl + overhead press

(Plus abs prescribed by my physio)

Nice & simple👌 okay okay, I’ll admit there are some very cute & fun moments woven in with the kids when everyone is getting along and I do really love it when they join in.
